Salary: £35000 - £40000 per annum
Are you an exceptional candidate with extensive experience in the hotel industry? Do you have a good working knowledge of international venues and hotel contracts? If so would you like to work for a well established, global events agency specialising in the pharmaceutical industry?
As Venues and Contracts Manager you will be responsible for obtaining client specifications for events, including space requirements, accommodation, number of meals, travel costs etc, sending out leads to hotels and then assessing the hotel proposals in order to report back to the client with the options available. You will negotiate contracts with hotels, creating detailed budget proposals to ensure that requirements are met.
This is a challenging role and the ideal candidate will need to be an excellent communicator and negotiator with the ability to work with complex proposals and financial information. You will thrive off working under pressure in a fast paced environment, often to strict deadlines and will be well organised with the ability to prioritise. Candidates will also be focused on exceptional customer service. Educated to degree level or equivalent. Languages an advantage.
