Qualifications/Experience

We are looking for aGym Director for The Little Gym of Kensington & Chelsea.

GYM dIRECTOR POSITION

The Gym Director needs to be enthusiastic and confident about working with children between ages 4 months and 12 years old. The candidate needs to have excellent interpersonal skills and be extremely self-assured when dealing with customers. The individual needs to be a strong leader and team builder, who is well organised, with the ability to multi – task as well as adapting well to change. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are key aspects to the role. They need to be highly motivated individuals that will drive the business forward assisting the owner with management of all business and operations-related aspects of the gym.

Responsibilities:

•living The Little Gym philosophy and executing an outstanding program
•ensuring excellent customer service
•financial and operations planning and reporting
•managingall personnel, staffing and training related topics
•implementing efficient workflows and procedures
•marketing
•teaching classes at a high standard
•overseeing the curriculum to ensure lesson plans are being followed accurately.

QUALIFICATIONS

•The individual needs to have prior experience with working with children.
•A background or training in gymnastics, teaching, physical education or child development
•NVQ level two or three certificate
•First Aid course completed in Adults, Children and babies would be desirable
•Advanced Criminal Record check would be beneficial.

To work with the SSPs, the CSP and other local delivery agencies to promote to students, college lecturers and other staff, the relevant continuous professional development (CPD) opportunities

To promote the benefits and successes of the colleges work in this area and ensure it has a high profile both internally and externally

·To monitor and evaluate the colleges’ progress in relation to the key targets set out for this programme
·To seek out and respond to the learner voice
