Community Services Fulwood & West View Leisure Centre require enthusiastic people who have a genuine interest in fitness studio activities. Experience in the operation of a fitness studio, either, as a member of staff or a club member is desirable, although full training will be given.

The successful applicants will be expected to contribute to the ongoing development of the fitness studio, generating ideas for the marketing and promotion of the facilities to encourage new customers to join, whilst retaining existing customers.

Applicants should have knowledge of basic training principles, anatomy and physiology. Preference will be given to applicants with Fitness Testing experience.

Your Profile

As Online Content Manager you will have strong web editorial, multimedia production and project management skills to achieve high standards within time and budget constraints. Excellent writing skills are a must. You will have experience working within a web publishing environment and demonstrable experience of working creatively with brands and marketing online. A proven

experience of successfully marketing events, products and services online is essential. It would be a definite advantage if you have experience of marketing online a well-known visitor attraction. Alongside this you will be proficient in the use of XHTML and CSS.

The Role

This is an incredibly varied role. As Online Content Manager you will be responsible for the management and development of content on the varied parts of the website. You will be the first point of contact and will advise on best practice for developing these areas of the website. This will be inline with my client's brand and interactive media strategy whilst maximising opportunities to cross promote services and increase revenue. You will liaise extensively within your team and think creatively to deliver requirements of the brief.

Sports Events Co-ordinator

We are recruiting for a famous cancer charity whose UK HQ is in the heart of Central London. They have an exciting opportunity for a Sports Events Assistant, focusing on Triathlon Events.

In this role you will manage and develop the charity's fundraising from triathlon events with special responsibility for the Human Race Series/London and Blenheim Triathlons/One of the charity's flagship events and actively contribute to the overall success of the Sports Events and Fundraising teams.

The main duties for this role involve:

- Managing entries/fundraising for designated sporting events, dealing with written and phone enquiries and sending out entry information/sponsor and other forms promptly.
- Maintain spreadsheet, database and all necessary participant records accurately and efficiently so as to facilitate effective relationship management.
- Service and enhance special relationships in particular with the event organisers Human Race, IMG, Men's Fitness, Chiquita, ASICS and, via the Honorary Team Manager, the TVTimes celebrity team.
- Foster warm and lasting relations with participants through telephone, mailings and e-mailings.
- Assist with updating and design of newsletters, fundraising packs, certificates, web pages, partner web pages, displays, sporting event stories and other materials in liaison with the charity's press team.
- Assist in researching, developing and securing new sporting event opportunities and liaise with Corporate Fundraising to identify and exploit corporate fundraising opportunities from sporting events.

Key Skills:

You must have one years' solid office-based administration and customer service experience. You must also be enthusiastic with excellent communications skills and proven organisational skills. If you're looking to forge a career in events this is the perfect starting point.
